Nursing School & Nursing Education

There are many things to consider when you are thinking about joining the nursing field, or maybe you are already a nurse, but are looking to broaden your horizens into a different nursing specialty. As just about everyone knows there is a large nursing shortage and it's only getting larger as the baby boomer generation ages.

So Where do I start?

Choosing a nursing school is really a personal preference. Some nursing institutions will tell you about how much more prestegious they are than all the rest. Some will tell you that they are more caring. Some will tell you that they are more affordable. So Which one's are telling the truth? Well to some degree they all are. You can enroll at a prestegious university like the University of Michigan or you can go to a community college, or even an online university.

The truth is that you need to find what one is right for you. Maybe you have kids, Maybe you need something close to where you live, maybe you need extensive financial aid, or maybe you don't want to go to school full time. There are literally hundreds of reasons on why one may be a better fit for you. Only you can answer the question: Which Nursing School is right for me?
